We joined two other families a few weeks ago and had a "First Thanksgiving Feast." We did it the week before Thanksgiving. I grumbled a little about it for a few days beforehand because I was so busy and didn't feel like doing it, but it turned out to be a lot of fun. It created a great memory for the kids. made up a script and David portrayed the governor of Plimoth Colony (yes I meant to spell it that way) and the other two dads portrayed the Indian leaders who were there. It was cute. We all made some old recipes from the Plimoth Colony website and then had a few more modern dishes mixed in (hurray for Costco pecan pie!).
